- The internal cooling is realized by a floating gasket with grafit sealing with drain to the exterior, which avoids any type of contamination of the bearings.
- The outlet of the coolant must always be activated during the rotation of the tool holder in order to ensure the lubrification and thus prolong the lifetime of the sealing.
- Maximum coolant pressure 70 bar.
- Interior perfectly sealed with PTFE rotating gaskets and a layer of ceramic on the axis in the contact areas. This is of vital importance and the ensurance of a much longer lifetime of the tool holder (it is widely known that the intrusion of coolant through the sealing is in general the principal reason for the deterioration of tool holders).
- The rotating axis of the tool holder is tempered and rectified (NOT hard-turned as done by other manufacturers).
- The toolholder is designed with a fastening nut system for the ER32 compact type collet. This way - with the collet ER32 closer to the bearings and a larger bearing diameter - the toolholder presents a significantly increased stiffness.
- Collets type ESX/ER 32 (not included).
- Maximum clamping diameter of Ø20 mm.
- For the fastening of the collet, the purchase of the key for ER32 nuts for CMZ toolholders is recommended (part reference 330.12.0637).
- For the fastening of the collet, the purchase of the key CH46 (wreng size 46 mm) is recommended (part reference 330.12.001805).
- Please remember that the fastening of the collet, while the toolholder is mounted on the turret, damages the guidance for the drive keys on the turret.
